Schmidt Electric provided electrical construction services for two new 2-megatwatt, dual redundancy data centers for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT). The centers are located near the primary ERCOT Operations Center and focus on advanced, “green” infrastructure. They use sustainable site selection parameters to support regional power reliability.

ERCOT operates the state’s electrical grid, helping supply dependable power to more than 25-million Texans. These data centers serve a key role in the grid’s infrastructure.
