Schmidt Electric Company provided complete electrical system construction services for a new, 122,000-square-foot manufacturing facility for HelioVolt. 

The manufacturing process layout was not completely designed by the time construction started, so a flexible design was required. The project featured:

• Three 3,000-amp services for the HVAC system
• State-of-the-art DDC controls
• Lighting controls
• Security system

Building amenities included 30,000 square feet of administrative and engineering office spaces, as well as a showroom and training, meeting, and lunchrooms. The completed facility was built for the design and manufacture of thin film solar photovoltaic modules.
